Join us for a Special Easter Service
We’re excited to share a special update with our church family and warmly invite newcomers to join us for our Easter Worship experience. On Sunday, March 31st, we will be hosting our church service at Pickett Elementary School, starting at 10:00 AM. This change is part of our commitment to ensuring everyone who attends can do so comfortably, with plenty of space to connect and worship together in one service.
Pickett Elementary School offers ample room for our growing congregation and guests, providing a welcoming environment for children, youth, and adults. This move reflects our church’s adaptability and desire to engage more closely with the community around us. It’s a perfect opportunity for first-time visitors to experience our vibrant church community in a new, spacious setting.
We believe this special service will be a memorable occasion for fellowship, worship, and community building. Whether you’re a long-time member of our church family or considering joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you. Additional details and directions to Pickett Elementary School will be available on our website.
Mark your calendars for this special day. It’s more than just a service; it’s a chance for us to come together as a family, celebrate our faith, and make new friends. We can’t wait to see you there and share this unique experience together with you. And remember to bring a guest . . . there’s plenty of room.
Why we Celebrate Easter
The resurrection of Jesus Christ and the celebration of Easter hold central significance in the faith, embodying the core of Christian belief and hope. Christians view the resurrection as the pivotal event that confirms Jesus as the Son of God, vindicates His teachings and sacrifice, and demonstrates His victory over sin and death. This miraculous event is not only seen as historical but also as a transformative reality that offers believers the promise of eternal life and a personal relationship with God through faith in Christ.
Easter, therefore, is a time of profound reflection, joy, and renewal for believers. It commemorates not just the historical resurrection of Jesus but also symbolizes the new life believers have been given through faith—marked by forgiveness, reconciliation, and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.
This season encourages Christians to remember their baptismal vows, reaffirm their faith, and live out the implications of the resurrection in their daily lives, striving for righteousness, justice, and peace in accordance with the teachings of Jesus.
